The proposal to regulate the use of data in the European Union has been a priority for some years. Since the European Data Strategy was presented by the European Commission in 2020, work has been under way on a Regulation on a European Data Governance Act to help complete the regulatory framework initiated with the General Data Protection Regulation in 2016. Last April 2022, the European Parliament made public its amendments to the proposal on this proposal for a Regulation and its position on it, welcoming it as a great necessity for the development of the European market. We will dedicate the following lines to the review of some aspects of the proposal and its analysis.
