Abstract

Since work is occupying most of the time of the human being, man devotes an increasing portion of his life to his work environment and activities related to it. The working environment is more present in everyday life than any other situation. With this, the diseases of modern man are more related to his professional activities. This intensification sickens the workers for the excesses and the poor conditions offered for the execution of the work. The work environment influences the physical, psychological and performance conditions of the worker. The quality of life of the citizen depends, to a great extent, on the quality of the environment in which he works. In teleworking environmental factors of work are related to the occurrences of occupational diseases. The form of organization and execution of the tele-service has in itself peculiarities in its modus operandi that differentiate its place of internal operation, of the conventional workstations. In the Call Centers, the conduction of the activity and all other structures make the environment of teleworking a rich field for the triggering of physical and psychological illnesses in the workers, according to statistical data of the National Institute of Social Security. One of the earliest works addressing the subject was the article La névrose des téléphonistes[5] by Louis Le Guillant. The Law Bill 6787/2016 that is processed in the Senate brings some regulations on the professional category of telework, without however addressing issues related to the working environment.
